You’ve Tried to Make Other Workouts Work.
Most people look into Pilates after years of trying to make other workouts work. Maybe you’ve tried crowded classes, followed programs online, or pushed harder without seeing the change you expected.
Pain lingers. Strength stalls. Your body feels tired and out of balance.
Aspen & Pine Pilates was built for people ready for a better approach. A private, classical Pilates studio in Helena where your body and goals come first.
Your training is individualized, guided, and supported every step of the way. You are not left guessing. You have a clear plan and expert guidance.
Our clients value their health, want to get strong and to stay active for years to come. They want strength that supports their lives, to move without pain, feel confident in their body, and see real progress.
Our Approach
The Complete Pilates System
What makes Aspen & Pine different is how we train. We use the full classical Pilates system, not just the reformer, so your body is trained as a whole. We are fully equipped with Gratz apparatus, the original Pilates equipment designed for the method. Most sessions include two to three pieces of equipment, giving you a more effective workout that leads to better movement, better strength, and better results.
Individualized Coaching
Every session is built around your body and your goals. We use the full Pilates system which combines spring resistance, multiple pieces of apparatus, and precision coaching to build strength, improve mobility, and refine how you move. Progress is clear and measurable through how you feel, InBody assessment, how you move, and changes in strength and body composition.
Private, Focused Environment
Sessions are one-on-one or limited to 3 clients. You are coached in real time, with adjustments as you move. You’re not left guessing if you are doing it right or trying to keep up. If you’ve ever felt lost in a class or unsure if you’re doing things right, this is a different experience. You’ll feel the difference right away.
Results-Driven Training
Programs at Aspen & Pine Pilates are designed to bring real change into your life whether you want to move without pain, get stronger, or feel confident in your body again. Every program has a clear direction. With the right instruction, the full Pilates system, and consistent coaching, you’ll build a body that is strong, capable, and ready for your life.
From the Founder
At Aspen & Pine, our approach is rooted in how this studio was built from the start.
People I meet aren’t struggling to find a place to work out. They’re struggling to find something that actually works for their body and their goals.
Aspen & Pine Pilates was created to offer something different. A place where training is thoughtful, individualized, and built to deliver real results. No waiting for equipment. No guessing what to do next.
Every session is guided by a background in strength training, classical Pilates, and movement. As an award-recognized personal trainer, I focus on alignment, progression, and what your body needs to move forward.
This level of individualization matters whether you’re just starting Pilates, dealing with pain, coming back from an injury, or ready to train at a higher level.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple. We help you build a body that moves well, feels strong, and lasts. Whether your goal is to stay active, improve sports performance, or move through life without pain, you’ll have a clear plan and expert support every step of the way.
Studio Experience
Aspen & Pine Pilates studio is private, quiet, and designed for focus. We offer private sessions, semi-private training, and nutrition coaching, with no more than three clients in the studio at a time. This allows for real coaching, clear instruction, and attention to how your body moves.
We are fully equipped with Gratz apparatus, the original Pilates equipment designed for the method. The feel, resistance, and precision matter. When paired with expert instruction, it leads to better movement, better strength, and better results.
Aspen & Pine Pilates is located in the heart of Helena at the historic Great Northern Town Center. Meet Your Instructor
I was born and raised in Montana, graduated from Belgrade High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Montana Tech. Returning to my home state to open Aspen & Pine Pilates feels like coming full circle. I’m grateful to share my passion for Pilates with the Helena community—both in the studio and with clients who join me online.
My career in fitness has taken me across several states and even across the world. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worked with clients in Arizona, Wyoming, and Australia, where I served as Head Trainer in Mackay, Queensland. Along the way, I was honored to be nominated for Personal Trainer of the Year by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)—one of the most respected organizations in the strength and conditioning field. Those experiences shaped the way I coach today: blending strength training, movement science, and classical Pilates to help people change their bodies.
But what matters most to me isn’t a résumé—it’s the people I work with. I partner with clients from many walks of life: athletes, individuals recovering from injury, managing back pain, navigating autoimmune conditions, going through cancer treatment, rebuilding strength during menopause, pursuing weight loss, or simply wanting a body that feels strong and capable again. I especially enjoy working with what I call the “not-so-perfect body”—because that’s where thoughtful, individualized training can make the greatest difference. Perfect isn’t interesting but the not so perfect is!
My role isn’t just to coach workouts. I see it as a partnership. Together we look at how your body moves, what your goals are, and what approach will help you get there safely and effectively. I believe great training should challenge you, support you, and ultimately empower you. When that happens, progress follows—and the confidence that comes with it can change far more than just how you exercise.
